Promote the long-awaited return of AgQuip in 2022.

The Opportunity

Following two years of cancellations due to COVID-19, C7EVEN was engaged by ACM Rural Events to develop and execute a high-level public relations campaign to promote the long-awaited return of AgQuip in 2022. The opportunity involved showcasing the return of a full-scale event, communicating the newly adopted ticketing system and encouraging attendance at the event.

Our Solution

C7EVEN developed a high-level strategy to maintain and leverage AgQuip’s reputation as Australia’s largest agricultural field days event. The strategy incorporated three phases:

1. Short lead

This phase consisted of identifying and coordinating short lead media opportunities. C7EVEN worked with event organisers and sponsors to develop appropriate media angles that promoted the event and exhibitors and encouraged ticket sales in the lead up to the event.

2. In event

C7EVEN was on the ground across the three-day event to manage media coverage. An ‘official opening’ media opportunity was coordinated, which involved local and state government representatives, including the NSW Agricultural Minister.

3. Post event wrap-up

This phase included the development of an event wrap up media release, which highlighted key event results. Post event media coverage was also coordinated.
