C7EVEN helped ICPA (Aust) review the strategic direction and develop a strategic framework and a shared vision to guide the volunteer council in the direction of strategic and operational priorities.
The Opportunity
The Federal Council of the Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association (ICPA Aust) is made up of volunteer members who often juggle several responsibilities and roles. This meant Federal Councillors often had limited time availability for strategic priorities, namely advocacy.
The opportunity presented itself for C7EVEN to help ICPA (Aust) review the strategic direction and develop a strategic framework and a shared vision to guide the volunteer council in the direction of strategic and operational priorities.
As a Federally funded organisation, that relies upon this funding to support its members, ICPA (Aust) has engaged C7EVEN to elevate it’s national profile and reputation through strategic media relations in order to amplify the needs of its members and put them on the national agenda.
Our Solution
C7EVEN created a bespoke Public Relations and member communications plan for ICPA (Aust), outlining content themes and key messages, as well as key industry communications and media relations. The member communications portion was based on the results garnered from a member survey C7EVEN facilitated.
The plan was implemented in a collaborative way through a monthly retainer model, enabling C7EVEN and ICPA (Aust) to act strategically but stay dynamic to jump on opportunities when they occur.
Strategic Planning
C7EVEN undertook a Federal Council review, including an anonymous survey distributed to members and Federal Councillors, and facilitated two strategic workshops. Based on these insights, a Strategic Plan and a One Year Delivery Plan was delivered.
