To promote and publicise Australia’s largest country music celebration – the 52nd Tamworth Country Music Festival, by showcasing the artists, the fans, the city, the region and the key events that make this Festival one of the most unique live music experiences. And to highlight the significance of this event to Australia’s country music industry.
Held annually in Tamworth, NSW, Tamworth Regional Council has engaged C7EVEN to oversee and execute a public relations strategy and manage media coverage of the Tamworth Country Music Festival each year from 2017-2024.
Our Solution
C7EVEN’s approach centred on our collaborative approach to work and commenced with the development of overarching strategy delivered via a four-staged approach.
The strategy endeavoured to generate positive media coverage for the 2024 Toyota Country Music Festival, Golden Guitar Awards, and Toyota Star Maker competition, while consistently emphasising Tamworth as the country music capital of Australia.
We used a combination of compelling media pitches, media releases and creative content to secure regional, state and national media coverage and in a bid to encourage increase propensity to attend the annual iconic event.
