Developing an event strategy to promote the 2024 Wilmot Field Day and continue to grow the event over the coming years.
The Opportunity
C7EVEN was engaged to deliver the 6th annual Wilmot Field Day in 2024, with the aim to increase awareness of the event and therefore driving propensity to attend through increased ticket sales.
To drive awareness of the event to new audiences, which we achieved through development of a strategic marketing campaign.
There was an opportunity for C7EVEN to also develop an event strategy to provide a framework for Wilmot Field Day that not only focused on the 2024 event execution, but also to continue to grow the event for the coming three years.
Our Solution
C7EVEN developed an integrated event strategy, a thought-provoking event program, a strategic marketing and communications plan, as well as coordinated all event management and logistics.
Our approach was to attract new audiences and industry experts to Wilmot Field Day, while building on the skills and knowledge from previous attendees, to position the field day as the go-to event in regenerative agriculture. Our strategic approach to sponsorship acquisition assisted in securing long term partners and sponsors, allowing for future growth of the event and financial sustainability.
To support this strategic foundation, C7EVEN’s event support team also assisted with the management and organisation of two days of conference sessions, workshops and paddock walks, as well as a three-course dinner and a VIP program. Our team were the point of contact for suppliers, sponsors and speakers, allowing for the smooth coordination and facilitation of all event-related communications and interactions, before, during and after the event.
