C7EVEN was engaged by the Nutrien Equine Team to facilitate the public relations and media activity in the lead up to, during and post the 2023 Nutrien Classic held at the Australian Equine Livestock and Events Centre from Friday 27 January to Sunday 5 February.

C7EVEN was also engaged to provide analytical reporting for the Nutrien Equine social media pages for the lead up to and duration of the event.

In addition to this, C7EVEN was engaged to facilitate the media booking and media management for the 2023 Nutrien Classic Store Cattle Sale as part of its promotional plan.

To increase awareness around the 2023 Nutrien Classic sale, campdraft and performance horse events through earned media, public relations and media management.

The analytical reporting of the Nutrien Equine Facebook page was conducted to track reach and engagement during the event. This data will be used to form a comprehensive sponsorship prospectus for the 2024 Nutrien Classic.

The advertising conducted for the Nutrien Classic Store Cattle Sale, was conducted to encourage vendors to register their cattle for sale and buyers to attend.


Our solution included a strategic approach to PR management for the 2023 Nutrien Classic event.

Opportunities were also identified at the event to increase media activities and support for planned PR such as media releases, media alerts and press call management.

C7EVEN’s working relationships with local and metro media made for seamless on ground media management at the event.

The earned media coverage obtained for the 2023 Nutrien Classic was across multiple media channels including TV, radio, print, online news and magazines receiving more than 120 media mentions.

This included outlets such as:

  • ABC NSW Country Hour
  • The Land,
  • Queensland Country Life
  • NBN News
  • Prime 7 News
  • Select Sires, and many more

The potential audience reach was more than 1.3 million viewers, with an advertising value equivalency of $152,427.

The most significant piece of media coverage was the story delivered by ABC Landline, on the top priced horse and ABC NSW County Hour.
