C7EVEN WINS GOLD PRIA AWARD

C7EVEN has taken out the gold award at the annual PRIA Golden Target Awards for our work on the Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council’s (CGRC) Community Strategic Plan (CSP).

The PRIA award for Community Relations and Engagement recognises the success of our comprehensive and contemporary engagement program which reached 70.42% of the region and enhanced Council’s reputation through improved community consultation.

C7EVEN engaged directly with stakeholders through face-to-face pop-up consultations, in-person and virtual workshops with community groups, and the use of online survey’s and communication channels to gain feedback and input into Council strategies for the next 10 years.  The team visited all small towns and villages as well as the main centres to ensure the entire region had the opportunity to have their say.

C7EVEN Co-founder and Director, Sara Crowe said: “Working with a Council that is committed to increasing opportunities for public participation in the development of its plans and improving connection with the community was inspiring.

“We loved speaking with people across the region, and listening to their concerns, ideas and aspirations for the area over the next ten years and capturing this in Council’s plan for the future and we’re so proud that this important work has been recognised by our industry body.”
